Wait and See Situation

Hi moms.

This has been one of the hardest weeks of my life. 💔On Monday, I was told I was having a miscarriage because my hcg dropped. I was heart broken.

I had an ultrasound on Tuesday. Baby has a heartbeat! Baby measured at 6 weeks 1 day (calculations had me at 6 weeks 4 days) and the heartbeat was at 104!

I was admitted to the ER because they thought they saw an ectopic but it was just my fibroid. They drew my blood again and my levels went up 20! Not much but up!

Had a blood test again Friday. Numbers dropped again. But the Dr said that because I had an ultrasound with fetal heartbeat and cardiac activity, that things weren't adding up. I was told that I'm in a "wait and see" situation. I have an ultrasound again in about 2 weeks to see if baby is still fighting.

I just feel so lost and confused. I'm trying to be hopeful but part of me feels like I've already lost this baby. I've been spotting on and off all week, with discharge and some very small clots.

Anyone have any similar experiences or any advice for me? I could really use the support. 💔
