Did I over react ??

Question

Last night I got mad at my bf. But now he won’t answer me today.  
We didn’t talk much yesterday because we both worked and he worked til late. He told me that he didn’t want to see me last night because he had to work late and would probably go home and go to bed. 
Around 11pm I got a text from him. So I texted him back and didn’t get a response from him. So I FaceTimed him. HE ALWAYS ANSWERS MY FACETIMES unless he is busy or sleeping.  So I was like wtf ? 
I saw that he was online on Facebook. So he was looking right at his phone. I texted him again and FaceTimed him again, and no answer.  But he was on Facebook.
I was getting upset. 
He finally texted me and said that he was at a bar.  So I texted him back and asked why he’s ignoring my texts and calls and he ignored me again. 
I was so mad last night. I just felt disrespected. He said he didn’t want to see me because he would tired and would be in bed sleeping. But then he’s at a bar past midnight.  
I tried texted him today and he hasn’t replied again. 😞 
Do you think I over reacted ?

I wouldnt be mad because people need their space and they dont always know how to ask for it. As far as being on Facebook goes, my chat is always open on my phone so it always shows im online and active even if im not. Should he have just told you he needed some space yes, but i do think blowing up his phone was a bit much

Yes you did. He sounded like he wanted some alone time. If he doesn’t answer you don’t keep ringing him leave him alone for the night.

I can understand why you'd get upset, since he said he would *probably* want to go home & sleep. I think it's okay for something else to come up, tho, since he didn't have plans with you & maybe needed space. 
But I understand being ignored feels really disrespectful, and I could understand if it feels like he lied to you. Although I wouldn't jump to the conclusion it was intentional. And it might be tough to pay attention to your phone in public, I don't answer my phone in public and am too ADD to text if people are talking to or near me. 
I don't think you should worry too much, but I think it would probably help you not freak out if he was more willing to communicate a bit better. Just say he's going to a bar or needs some space or he can't talk- so you know wtf is goin on. 
Some people are not used to communicating like that and I drop the ball on occasion, too.

I might be the odd one out, idk how long yall have been together, but he doesn’t seem interested in the relationship anymore and I think he’s kind of trying to be a wuss and give you clues that you’re not picking up...

I think he should have been like hey I changed my mind about going home to sleep , I’m going to go out to the bar .. I’ll call or text later blah blah.  I get wanting alone time and everyone should have alone time .. but let someone know when plans change . I just think it’s respectful to .

Personally maybe he just has a lot on his mind. But what I would say is give him some space and let him be because if you on top of him all the time he’s going to want to rebel or even get annoyed by you. If he wants to blow off some steam let him at the end of the day if he loves you he wouldn’t do anything to hurt you. Going through an argument isn’t easy for both sides of the relationship I’m assuming he’s just upset.

I can understand why you would be upset, but at the same time I also kind of get why he ignored you tbh. People need alone time, and it's insanely fucking annoying to have a person constantly up your ass 24/7. Yeah, he should have communicated with you better, but you also sound like you were being a pain in the ass.

He probably just needed some space. I would be annoyed, as I value communication, and he should have just told you that he needed some space to chill/destress and cool off for a while, instead of ignoring you. But if you haven’t told him what you want him to do in those situations, you can’t be mad about it. Just tell him in the future, this is what you need.
