So I know that baby’s heart rate doesn’t exactly determine gender but my husband is so set on it after reading that girls have a higher HR than boys all over the internet and it’s driving me nuts! We already have a beautiful healthy 18 month old girl and he really hopes to have a boy this time and I honestly don’t care either way I would be so blessed and happy as long as I have a healthy baby, but I had my first scan yesterday I was 8+6 so almost 9 weeks and baby’s heart rate measured at 170 so because of that my husband is like well we’re having another girl and I’m just like ok and what if we are but at the same time I don’t think HR is a main indicator towards gender. Obviously he would love our baby regardless of gender he is over the moon with our first but he is really hoping for a boy and at this point I’m over it lol mamas please back me up or help me out on this
