Any LCs in here?! I had my baby on Thursday. Baby didn’t have a great latch that first day and cause some pain and bruising on my nipples. I saw the hospital Lc and we worked on latch, baby latches and swallows like a pro now.

My right side nipple is not healing like my left side did. It has become so painful that I started using a nipple shield just on that side while it’s healing. This morning, that nipple is bleeding. I know I can nurse with a bleeding nipple but, should I maybe pump only from that side and allow it time to heal? I’m not sure of what to do. Also I’m overproducing, so the milk has to come out somehow or I’ll have even bigger problems 😫 she nurses for like 5-10 minutes and then is done and I’m still full.
