We changed our girls into bunk beds this week. It’s wood with slats up both sides. Our youngest was climbing out of her crib and it was at the lowest setting. So we thought it would be a good idea to just skip the toddler bed so they had more room in their bedroom(they share a room).

I never even expected her to be able to climb the bunk bed this small and young(18months) but she most definitely can.

The first night I realized she could climb the ladder I took it off. It worked for one night until she saw my 6 yr old climb up the slats on the side and realized she could do that too🤦‍♀️

So, I really need to figure out a way to stop this.

I found covers for the ladder but can’t seem to find anything about the sides. Going to try to tie a sheet over it but if anyone has any other suggestions I would really appreciate it!! (Taking the beds apart isn’t an option)
