So my daughter is a week and 4 days old. She is having a hard time staying awake for her bottles. She'll eat an ounce and then fall asleep so hard that its impossible to wake her up. And then if I do get her up and then force feed her, she projectile vomits everywhere. This is happening only during the day. At night, I have better luck and she'll take the whole bottle or at least stay awake for most of it. I dont want to force her to eat a bottle if shes not hungry, but I'm afraid of shes only eating an ounce every 2-3 hours, shes not getting enough. Her 2 week appt is on Wednesday and I'm afraid of what will happen if she hasnt put her birth weight back on that she lost in the hospital.
