Kinda gross because of my earwax but is there a bug in my ear? Or is this just wax? I’ve been having trouble hearing out of this ear so I’m not sure.

Hard to tell by picture, wax can definitely build up, doctor can help you get it out and make it better.
I had a bug once, long story short it was a boxelder. It was Easter and I could hear it move around. So I can assure you if it was a bug you would hear it. Very rare to be a bug.

I work until n the medical field and we see waxy ears all the time. That looks like shiny wax to me, good luck!
