I have to admit I had the craziest cramps the day before my period and but It was slightly different.

As in usually my period cramps hurt the centre of my lower abdomen and my thighs and a crawling pain down to my feet. But I manage to sleep through that.

But that night the pain was like as if it's at the back of my abdomen and it hurt the whole abdominal area and my back and I couldn't sleep all night.

The pain was different so even though AF is sometimes late by 3-5days I thought I will just test.

I honestly didn't think but there it was !!! I am still having mild cramps like you say and I think I will take the first trimester with caution and get some rest if the cramps her.

But I must also add I had this last time the whole of my 1st trimester and I had a healthy baby.

But I also had an MC before which I had some weird discharge and heavy cramps and it turned out there was an infection and there was nothing left to do. :(

So as long as there is no weird heavy discharge or bleeding it should be fine. But do ask the Dr if you feel uncomfortable.
