Should we find out !! 🙊💗💙 Pros and cons?

Question

We have our 20 week scan in two weeks time and we are so undecided on if we should find out the sex! I know its personal choice but have you guys got any personal experiences on why you were happy you did or didn't find out? 
One I want the surprise but two I want to be prepared by knowing the sex! I know after it's born I will go out and buy more clothes specifically for the gender as neutral clothes are quite limited lol. 😅

I found out right away with my first and waited with my second. I will say, waiting is so hard. It’s hard not knowing what to get... but the excitement and thrill in the room with the baby comes out is UNREAL I can’t even explain it. I’m not a cryer, I didn’t cry when my daughter was born.. I was so proud and so blessed and love her to freaking pieces, but I didn’t cry. With my son, I couldn’t stop crying! They allowed my husband to see the baby and he told me it was a boy and I LOST IT. It’s an incredible experience filled with so much excitement!

I wanted to be surprised this time around but my husband has wanted to know for both of our babies so we’ve found out! It helps him bond better with the baby knowing the gender because then we finalize the name and he gets to talk to my belly more personalized! I think it is precious that he wants to find better ways to bond so I absolutely am on board!

We didn’t find out with my first and we won’t again with this one.  I thought it was so worth the wait and excitement.  It was VERY hard to pick things out when it came to our registry, but I pushed through it.  It was so worth the wait!

I doesn’t effect how i decorate or shop for clothing... my baby would wear unisex’ anyway and mix and match. Personally not into super gender focused guidelines BUT
 I’ve heard that it gives you so much strength to push and get your baby out because your just dying to know what it is and who it is!!!

I thought I wanted to wait until the tech asked me if I wanted to find out. I said “maybe I’ll take it in a sealed envelope...”
I tore it open in the car when I got home 😂

I’m 37+4 with my first and I haven’t found out. Its been tough holding out and I’m dying to know but I am so glad I’ve waited. I can’t wait to find out when my baby is born and I feel like it will make the birth more special and announcing baby’s arrival as no one knows what I’m having. I’ve obv had to stick to gender neutral clothes etc for the first size but I will then still get the enjoyment of shopping according to gender once baby is here. I have bought a pink cardigan and a blue cardigan to take to hospital so will use whichever is appropriate.

I was suuuuuuper impatient my family made me wait a month to give me a gender reveal and shopping for gender neutral clothes was so freaking hard but I was so happy to find out I was having a baby girl 😍 congrats to you mama!

Found out with my first and I am waiting with my present one the tech gave me the gender in a envelope (incase I changed my mind) but I can’t have that envelope in the house. So the impatient people who are swore to secrecy and Are apart of our Gender Chain letter. They get the ultrasound of the gender and then mail it to the next person. There is like 16 people on it and be time the last person gets it I should be just about too or given birth. This way me and the hubby get to stay team green. One of my sisters isn’t apart of it cause she says she would accidentally tell me. Plus I’m English and my husband is American this is a way for our friends and family here and across the pond get to be apart of it.

I've watched friends dress their boys in dresses or push all blue nursery themes on their girls from disappointment after the surprise reveal... You're the only one to know how you will respond once the sweet babe is here. Weigh out your possible reaction & how to neutrally prep mentally + physically purchases & what not... A lot to consider.
