Hello, I am a first time mom and considering getting this swing for my son. Those who have it and have used it, would you recommend it to someone else or was it a waste of your money? We are considering getting it, but don’t want to waste the money if it’s not worth it!￼

You can get one used for about $100; I was planning on getting one but will buy a used one.. seems like some babies love it and others don’t..

My son absolutely loved it! It was honestly a life saver for the first few months. He would only really sleep in our arms or the Mamaroo during the day.. we probably got 4 to 5 months out of it. Some might not think that little time is worth the money, but for my sanity it was 😂

My kid hated it. I returned it. The 35 dollar graco swing, however, was a huge hit.

I have a mama roo, I bought it for my first baby she loved it! My second didn’t like it at all and my third currently loves it(she’s only 3 weeks). I like the different settings it has, I thought it was a nice swing and I definitely got my money’s worth out of it. 2 of the 3 liked it and it kept them calm so works for me lol

I personally have one. It’s a cool device but both of my babies have not like it. My son liked. A traditional back and fourth swing, and my daughter doesn’t do swings. If you buy one buy used because so many babies don’t like it’s not worth the money in my opinion

don’t waste your money. my son was gifted a fisher price swing (1/4 of the $) and i ended up returning it. not even concerned about it for this baby. we have the fisher price rocker that i used waaaay more. easy to pick up and move around the house if you need to lol. your baby only uses it for so long and i’ve read a lot of moms/kids don’t really recommend it. there’s so many other things you can get that would be bang for your buck!

We got our mamaroo second hand and saved a bunch. We had initially considered fisher price or graco but they use toxic flame retardants and we’re not about exposing our baby to stuff like that unnecessarily so the additional cost of the mamaroo was worth it to us.

I have 2 friends that wasted their money on them and had to sell them. Their babies hated them. I would never buy one cause i dont know if baby will like it or not and i dont want to waste that amount of money. I just stick with fisher price
