Experience with ectopic pregnancy and methotrexate?

So December 23rd i had to have methotrexate to end the ectopic but it didn't work so on December 28th I had emergency surgery to remove it and they had to take out half of my right overay. How long did your doctor recommend you wait to get pregnant again and How long did you actually wait to get pregnant again after the methotrexate and surgery?

That is true you should wait to try for at least 3 months. I had to have my blood drawn  48 hours after the shot to make sure my hcg was going down and in my case my hcg wasn't going down it was going up. My doctor decided then that he needed to do the surgery. I wasn't bleeding so that also was a big problem as well . I was lucky they didn't have to remove any tubes but they did remove half of my right overay. Hope it works for you. Sorry for your loss.

I heard you should wait three months or so before trying because the methotrexate is really bad for the fetus if you do get pregnant right away. 
I just got my MXT shots yesterday, I’m scared of it rupturing, how did you know it didn’t work? I’m super cranky and bleeding and scared that I won’t know if it’s not working. I should be 6w3d today.
