So my husband and I don’t agree with this topic 😅 when my daughter starts fussing I pick her up right away, but he says I’m “spoiling her” and should let her self soothe for a little before tending to her. Like if I’m cooking for my other kids and she’s in the bouncer and starts fussing I usually pick her up and try to finish dinner holding her or put her in a sling. He says by doing that she’s fussing to get picked up and will only get worse when she gets older. Mind you I have 5 other kids that need my help at times too. What do you typically do? I know they aren’t manipulating this early on but I don’t know any other way of mothering lol
