does this look like the beginning of chickenpox?

Hey guys, so my son was in the ER all weekend with a high fever but he tested negative for covid, RSV, the flu, and pneumonia. we haven’t changed anything in his diet or his usual soaps or lotions. tonight his whole belly and back broke out in these red spots and it started spreading down to his legs. 
my camera quality is awful, but the spots are barely raised and he doesn’t seem to be too itchy yet.

My son had a viral rash that made him run a fever. The rash was not raised and didn't seem to itch but I would do oatmeal baths to help and hydrocortisone cream of needed. We did Tylenol to help with the fever. His pediatrician said it just had to run its course. I would definitely check with his doctor though.

It could be roseola. My daughter had it when she was about 18 months old. She had a high fever for several days and we kept taking her to the doctor but all tests came back negative and then she got the rash. It was roseola, it is viral so nothing they could do but once she got the rash her fever broke and she started feeling better.

How old and did he just get the mmr vaccine? Fever and rash reaction to mmr is common (and not dangerous), so if he had that vaccine in the last few weeks, that might be it.
