Don't throw shade... I'm just curious...

So I saw a post about gender reveals and I was reading comments from non-binary trans people and I was wondering in the future if you decide to have children how would you explain sex to them... without genders? I am just curious and not being disrespectful or hateful.

Please explain it to me as if I were a 12 year old non binary child who just got their 1st period.
