Help can baby eat white sweet potato?

6 months old and has had a serving of carrot purée every night for the past couple weeks and has done great with it. Was going to make sweet potato purée for her now. I don’t like sweet potatoes so never cooked with them, but they are white ? I didn’t know they could be white. Is this safe for baby as her second food to try or should they be red first? Might be a dumb question but want to make sure I’m not doing anything wrong! Thank you!
