Taking baby out

I wanna know if I’m wrong for this , My boyfriend and I have been disagreeing about taking our one month old out to like the store and stuff and I understand it’s cold but he thinks baby is gonna get sick and I don’t think that I think baby needs to get out and get fresh air I could be wrong ! Advice? Anyone
