World Hearing Day

Today is World Hearing Day. A day I never would have known about 6 months ago.

1-2 out of every 1000 babies are born with some type of hearing loss.

Our sweet baby girl Summer Violet was born with bilateral moderate sensorineural hearing loss. And will require hearing aids for the rest of her life. This was never a journey I thought we would be on but we’re so thankful for her hearing aids and every dr and specialist we’ve seen along the way.

This girl is so special to all of us in so many different ways and her hearing loss is just one. It hasn’t been easy but she makes it so worth it ❤️
