When did you go back to work?

My son is 7 months old and recently I’ve been thinking of going back to work - I’m a high school teacher. 
When did you go back to work and was your timing based on financial strain or something else? My husband and I only pay $100 a week for rent. I don’t know when’s the right time to go back as childcare here is ridiculous..

I never went back 🤷‍♀️ the price of child care is horrendous here, so we'd practically be on one wage anyway, so we decided to remain on the single wage and have us raise our children instead of strangers. I feel blessed to spend the time with my son and watch him grow each day.

I went back now at 4months pp because I was ready too. Financially we are blessed. But it was more for my mental health. The ability to talk to adults regularly is a big thing I needed.

I went back asap- 8 weeks- not because I had to but I wanted to. I didn’t need to work at all.

I’m 3months pp and just went back. Can’t afford to stay at home and I also have free childcare while I work thanks to my mom. I’d give anything to be able to be off longer though!
