My baby girl is 6 months old and we are starting solids. We were think we would do a mixture of purées and BLW since they are both valid forms of eating.

But as we’ve been trying to feed her purées to start, she won’t really accept it? She shows interest in eating until we try to let her eat. And then it’s tight lips and gagging and eventually crying.

But, it hasn’t even been a full week. Is this just normal for starting out foods? Is there any way we can help her along? Or are we doing something wrong?
