Old blood leaving your body :) check with your OB or midwife if it becomes bright red or heavy.

It’s normal just old blood. When you see it’s brownish is normal. When it’s bright red is when it’s worrisome. Hope this helps

It’s not always normal. It could be for some, yes, but I always error on the side of caution. I’ve had 3 losses and all mine started with brownish discharge.
