Finding I turn red around certain people?

Question

I made a post a few weeks ago about turning red around my S/O’s brother. I’ve been with my S/O for over 5 years and it hasn’t happened until recently. 
Now I’m noticing it happens with others too. 
My S/Os brother is coming for a weekend and I don’t know how to stop from turning red. I think I’m embarrassed over a joke he made towards me a year ago. 
Any advice?

This used to happen to me a lot. Something I did to “trick” myself was that I would wear make up and in my head no one could see I was turning red behind my make up. I would relax and stop turning red. After a while I didn’t need the make up anymore. Good luck!!

This is so interesting to me because even when I like someone I never turn red around them. I have very little shame...Welp the last time I turned red was yeah when a cute guy caught me off guard.

IMO physical attraction could have something to do with it. Personally I've had similar things happen at work when I've had crushes on them..  it was mostly if they just walked up to me and caught me off guard. Red face. Lol.     But it just happens sometimes and you can't help it, but sometimes I would try to put up a mental block like "this is my coworker, business only"..would basically prepare myself to be around them. And I wouldn't allow myself to think about them in any other way, just business. And I don't mean sexually, just over thinking conversations/interactions,which could be your case. 
Even if you do view your bfs brother sexually IMO it wouldn't be bad, because humans naturally are not monogamous. As long as you're not actively day dreaming or persewing you should be okay.
