Breast pain from weaning - remedies??

Unfortunately I had to suddenly stop breastfeeding because of a medication.. my gal is doing great but my boobs are not!! What do I do? How do I get my milk to dry up?? 😫😫

CABBAGE LEAVES! I was a major oversupplier when I was exclusively pumping.. weaning was a b*tch! The only thing that helped me was cold cabbage leaves in my bra. It was cold so it was soothing and it really helped dry me up QUICK!

Hand expression and ice packs. Or pump (if you’re able) and dump, and gradually decrease pumping time.

I’ve also heard peppermint hurts supply, so if your a tea drinker you could do peppermint tea?

I had to do the same with our first child for the same reason. Antihistamines helped dry up my milk more quickly. I also tried cabbage leaves that some swear by, but the smell got to me. Sage oil is supposed to help too. I would also hand express just to relieve the pain.
