Nursing Mamas: is your 5 month old nursing for shorter times?

My baby is an efficient, quick nurser (and spew-er) but recently went from 5min a boob to 3-4 min. It isnt a big time difference but when they havent consistently done 5 min for two months it throws me off.

My son does block feeds, only one boob per feed. He usually does 5 minutes or so total, sometimes less!

Yup totally the same. She always has been quick but now we are down to 2-3 mins. Itslike ugh how did you get enough.

My girl does 8-15 minutes on average, but usually only one boob.
There are the occasional marathon feeds or double boob feeds but that is only once in a 24-48hr period generally.
I fed a bottle for the first time in ages the other day and she drank so much more in once session than I could pump! She must be a pro boober!
