Acid Reflux and Milk Protein Allergy

Hey everyone! Has anyone had a baby with acid reflux and a milk protein allergy? If so, what did you do to help keep formula down? Our baby is a month old and the first two weeks had a combination of formula and breast milk. Since then, we went to all formula. He was really gassy and projectile vomiting. He was diagnosed with a milk protein allergy so we switched to a hypoallergenic formula. Then his spit up was full of mucus and caused him to choke a lot. He's been on acid reflux medicine, but he still throws up half or more of each bottle. We plan to take him to his pediatrician Monday, but was wondering if you all had any tips. Thank you!
