My boyfriend and I have been together for 5 years, we have a child together and live together. In those 5 years he has never bought me a gift for anything. Today was my birthday and I was kinda expecting something because he said “take a nap and I’ll be back soon” he took our son with him but I couldn’t sleep. I ended up being alone all day and when he got home he told me he went to his dads. We went to my sisters for dinner at 6 and came back home. He didn’t do anything.. not even a card. I don’t even think he knows how much this hurts me even though I’ve told him time and time again. I always buy him gifts. I’m just hurt. Not even a card.
