When would you say you were truly recovered from perineal stitches / episiotomy?

So it’s been a month since my forceps delivery with episiotomy. I had internal and external stitches 😣

I would say the stitches have all dissolved now, however I’m still really uncomfortable down there. Not so much pain, but a tightness and aching feeling pretty much all the time.

Is this normal after 4 weeks? I’ve been reading online that you should feel fully recovered after 4 weeks 😕

If anyone could share their experience of this I would be extremely grateful ❤️
