Toddler Tips ? Is Big Little Feelings a good resource?

Favorite books or courses on toddlers. Def need some Mom tips on dealing with Toddler behavior  , how to still support their independence but also reel them in during a meltdown.

I follow them on IG and like the tips they post. I haven’t taken the course and likely won’t just because I’m not the type to take a parenting course. If there’s anything I’ve learned as a second-timer it’s that each kid is different and each month can be different too. Right now my baby is responding best to talking to him like an adult and telling him the steps we’re taking to get what he wants. For example this morning he wanted his pacifier and was ready to scream at me but I calmly explained first we were going to change diaper then pants then shirt then he could have his pacifier, and that satisfied him. He’s also starting to respond to me asking him to take a deep breath, I take one first then he does then we’re both ready to deal with whatever’s upsetting him.

I’m working my through the little big feelings course. I’ve been trying to implement their tactics and when I do, I think it helps a lot. I’m not great at “keeping my cool” which is big in their method. I’m finding I have to work on myself to use their methods, which is good. It’s making me a better parent. I think it’s worth it.

The happiest toddler on the block. I listened to the audio book right after my son turned one and it’s been soooo helpful in communicating and understanding toddlers needs.
