so i’ve been talking to this guy for a month. we are both 20 in college. i have a really big crush on him. but he’s just been really confusing. when i try to plan hangout he always comes up with an excuse or somehow the topic changes and he doesn’t answer the question. i don’t know what to think but i really want it to work with him. i’d appreciate some opinions and advice thanks.

He also says he’s interested in someone else 
Please remove yourself from this situation 
He’s not interested in anything with you. He’s just being nice. He told you he doesn’t want to lead you on. He’s clearly telling you he doesn’t want you like that. 
Just move on from this guy. He’s gonna waste your time until he ends up in a relationship with someone else! 
Save yourself the heartache and cut him off now!!!!

It sounds like he’s keeping you on hold while weighing his options.  
It doesn’t sound to me like you want to casually date (which is 100% ok) so I’d cut this guy loose.  
You deserve someone who is looking for the same thing as you! I wouldn’t settle for scraps of this guy.

It's not complicated. He doesn't want anything serious with you (not even non-serious, by the look of it). He's told you point blank that he's dating/going to date other people. So unless that's what you're going to do as well (hang out with him, hang out with other guys) please have some self-respect and stop messaging him.
As someone who stupidly chased after guys for many years, let me tell you this - when the right guy comes around, you won't have to beg him to see you :)
