My baby boy was determined not to be a February baby lol!

I woke up with my husband at 6 am on the 1st while he got ready for work, and I kept getting these cramps that would come and go like I had to poop really bad!

I didn’t think anything of it and tried to go back to sleep and couldn’t cause the pain kept getting worse. By 7:55a I was timing them and they were pretty painful but I could still talk through them, only lasting 40-50 seconds every 2-4mins. I decided to go in just to get checked and be on the safe side since I do live 40 mins away. Got to the hospital around 11ish they checked me I was only 2cm 🤯 like that can’t be right, so they monitored me and checked again, same lady said I was still a 2. Literally as soon as she pulled her hand out fluid came gushing out of me. I told her my water just broke! She said I don’t think so let’s just check to be safe though, sure enough they came back in my room and got me in a delivery room. At this point i was moaning in someeeee painnnnnn. I was in my room for about 30 mins getting all set up and prepped for the epidural , let me tell you I felt so defeated as i wanted to go all natural. The guy had to poke me 5 times before he finally got it on the 6th try 😅 they said let’s give you 10 mins to get numbed and we’ll check you again. Around 3:30 was the 10 min mark checked me and was like oh my god I can barely feel anything you’re 9 and a half cm.... I was like seriously?!?! The boost that gave me was amazing. By 6:31pm my 8lb 7oz lil man was here 🥰😍
