I have had my mirena iud for 2and a half years. I haven’t had a period since getting it but sometimes get cramps. The past week I have had some cramps and discomfort. I have checked my iud strings multiple times and they feel normal. Last night while having sex, I had to stop my partner because it was too uncomfortable. Afterwards, I had pretty good cramps for a while. No blood this whole time. Could my cervix just be sitting lower because of my cycle or is something wrong with my iud? What is going on?
