Hi all. Quick question has any one ever spotted for like 5 days starting a week before their period is due.

I’ve had some bleeding but I wouldn’t say it was enough to be classed as a period.

It was bright red in the morning turning to brown in the evening and was mainly there when I wiped (few drops on a pad) this lasted for 5 days and stopped on the evening of the 7th. AF is due to arrive on the 12th. I have been doing OPKs but haven’t had a definite positive on it. The most I go was like half way there on the scale :/ also did a pregnancy test on the 5th which was negative. Haven’t done another one since as I don’t know weather to class this as my period or not?
