Do you dress your kids up for st Patrick’s day? I notice a lot of people do, we normally don’t but do wear green. For some reason I’m starting to feel guilty for not going all out and buying my kids st Patrick’s day outfits.   But then I think why spend money on something they will wear once.  But then it is a lot of fun for them and kids love dressing up.  Hmm I dunno what to do lol.

I bought a little t-shirt from Old Navy. I feel like social media pressures us into thinking we have to dress our kids up for every holiday.

I don’t buy new clothes for minor holidays like valentines and st Patrick’s. If we have a hand me downs shirt, I’ll put them on them. Otherwise we just go with the color if we have that color. Our son wore blue on Valentine’s because he refused to wear red. Doesn’t bother me any. The only holidays I buy new clothes for are Christmas and Easter.

No. Whose got money to spare for all these little holidays!? Let your kid wear a green T-shirt and move it along.

I'm Irish and tbh most people here don't dress their kids up on Paddy's day... don't feel pressured by other people unless it's something you would like to do with your kids.

After a year of buying my daughter clothes for specific major holidays and then having her wear them once, I stopped wasting my money. But I never went as far as to buy outfits for minor holidays. So that’s a big nope from me.

Don’t worry about it. I am going to but only because my moms side of the family is very Irish and already sent me outfits because it’s a huge deal for us.

I will put my LO in some type of outfit....a green shirt or a jumper with shamrocks on it. It's cute.
