Weight Gain

Okay so I’m 7 days away from my period but I’ve gained like 4 pounds in a week. I’ve been weight training for about 1.5 years and started including more cardio. I’m not eating a ton (any differently than normal). I’m 5’3 and usually 125-130. I’m strong but I want to lean out and lose BW%. Why am I gaining weight?? Is it because of my period coming??

Normally I can gain up to 5 pounds when my period comes- maybe, since I’m typically weighing in at 130 with my new muscle mass, I’m gaining the 5 pounds that always comes with my period??

Thoughts on how to lean out even on your cycle??
