Pregnant naturally after ttc - terrified of miscarriage

Jane

We are pregnant after 5 years of TTC. I have been spotting mostly brown with the exception of one red spot (at 3 am a few nights ago- got no sleep after that). Now it’s lighter like an orange ish color abd then it went back to brown. It has been happening since 4 weeks and I’m 6.5 weeks now. I have all the tell tale signs of miscarriage: lighter pregnancy sticks (not by much), cramping, reduction in pregnancy symptoms, moody, etc. my lower back started hurting yesterday and I was like no I’m making this up. I’m not. It’s a dull ache. My levels look fine but I’m due back for an ultra sound on Friday. I have to go by myself because of stupid covid. I’m so afraid they won’t find a heart beat and it will be all over. I’ve never been pregnant before (that I know of). I’m just so terrified. Has anyone else experienced almost every symptom in the book and still gone on to have a successful pregnancy? My only fish factor is being over weight (I lost 40lbs this year so I’m trying bot to beat myself up too much over the fact that I’m still overweight). Actually my other risk factor is unexplained infertility. I was so focused on getting pregnant I never thought about the horrors of being pregnant- mostly because I truly never thought I’d be. I’m having such a hard time.

Don’t lose hope. The lighter pregnancy tests could be the hook effect. As your HCG levels rise the pregnancy test actually gets lighter after a certain level. It happened with my first pregnancy and I freaked out!Secondly anything is possible with unexplained infertility! I’m awake right now holding my little surprise after unexplained infertility. I had failed IVF cycles and my first little one came via donor embryo. Try to breathe and take it one day at a time. For BOTH of my pregnancies I experienced bright red bleeding early on. The first for a full week (week 6), no cause could be identified. The second for weeks due to a small SCH (week 9-16ish). Bleeding is not always a problem.
