Where are you putting your car seat?

I moved my toddler to the drivers side and will have baby rear facing on the passenger side. My husband is tall and wouldn’t be able to drive my car with a rear facing seat on the drivers side.

I always put my newborn in the center even with the older one next to her. Center in a 3 seater vehicle is technically safer. Passenger side is optimal though. But when I get baby installed they always put the newborn in the center if they can unless you have a van which my bestfriend says they I stall on passenger side.

Driver's side. It's less time to spend in the rain or snow when getting the baby in and out. With my first we started on the passenger side and daycare drop off had me change my mind quickly lol

My daughter's carseat is already on the passenger side so we will put baby's on the driver's side.

Here is my recommendation - rear facing passenger, forward facing can be driver. I was in an accident with my toddler last year, she was still rear facing and she was driver side. I had original moved her to driver side because I’d heard you favor your own side more. Well we were hit on the freeway at 70+mph. Her car seat worked amazingly. She was okay. However the force from the impact moved the car seat enough to hit my headrest and knock me in the head. Felt like I was punched and my eyes closed and when I opened we were in another lane. After that I will never put a rear facing seat behind a driver seat. If I’d have lost consciousness from the impact things would have turned out differently despite her seat protecting her perfectly.
