I have complained and received a refund, new food, or coupons... but I never complain with the purpose of getting those things...

I’ve complained a few times. If the food isn’t edible or what I ordered, I shouldn’t have to pay for it because the restaurant messed up. 
However, I don’t use a third party delivery service like Skip, I only ever order from the restaurant directly so I feel less bad about complaining since my complaint is going directly to the source and not a third party.

As long as you don’t complain when you eat half already then I don’t see what’s bad. Working as a server there would be MANY people who ate half or even more and then want a refund or free food, i would be thinking“damn for what, you cleaned the plate”. Anyways they couldn’t get nothing, but if you really don’t like it and haven’t done what I just described then yeah just send it back or get a refund, just know it takes TIME to cook food. Has people upset at the open kitchen because it’s not fast food and can’t pop out the food in less than 5 min

If I complain I want a refund not food... because I try not to “send food back” or eat from them after complaining. You never know. I saw a girl on youtube put a whole hot dog up her hoohah and then put it on the bun with ketchup and mustard. It was caught on the restaurant camera. Also saw recently a women get into a small tissle with thenperson taking her order at drive thru at mcds. She drank most her ice coffee only to find mucus. Reported to mcdonalds and the employee admitted it. She also tested positive for covid days later and claimed she never went out as a single mom and only did orders or deliveries. Mcds offered her 500$ through their insurance 👀

I tend to turn down free food if something was bad because I mean, what are the odds it's going to get better. I was however given a voucher after getting some REALLY crappy food, they claimed it was because they were working off a generator that day, we went back... And my theory was just proven right.
