Growing up I remember *those* fights. I remember never hanging out as a family. I remember never seeing them do anything cute/fun/happy together. The list goes on. 
Don't do it for the sake of the kids.

My parents stayed together for me and my sister. It was not a good environment. Lots of unhealthy arguments constantlt. My sister and I have a lot of mental health issues because of it. If you are considering this, please don't. You are strong and resilient. It will be hard at first but your children will thank you and you will be so much happier for it.

My parents but I’m pretty sure they just hated us. As soon as we all moved out they started traveling and taking a bunch of vacations. They seem a lot happier now. Wish I could’ve had my present day parents when I was growing up instead of the abusive and traumatizing parents I got.

Yes there's like three couples in my neighborhood that is soon as their children turned 18 they got divorced.

Sort of they're not married. But when I was a teenager my bestfriend got knocked up by her boyfriend who was also a good friend of mine. She started cheating on him and he was getting ready to leave here but then she broke out the magical two lone pink pee stick and he was stuck lol he stayed with her, but never married her and never will. She cheats on him all the time and he's fallen completely out of love with her and hates her guts now but stays for his daughter so she has parents who are together instead of separated. Anyway, he stayed with her and he's now extremely miserable. His daughter is the only thing that gets him through to the next day. Its really super sad

Yep. My parents did this, was an awful household to grow up in. 
I have a friend who refuses to leave her serial cheating husband coz they have twins. He even gave her a std from his cheating. She’s not happy. He can’t keep it in his pants.

I stayed for way too long!  Together for 11 years, 4 beautiful children... thought we should stay a family! Buttt he made me miserable. Emotionally and verbally abusive, traveled for work, always gone, not supportive, super toxic fights.... my babies were and still get sad sometimes that mom and dad are not together, but they see me happy and glowing and able to be a much better mom to them (!!) than when I was in a relationship with their dad.

Yes....and it's always a bad idea. 
Kids know and truay me when I say, they would be MUCH happier to have 2 separated but happy parents.

I wish my parents had divorced. I grew up in a very unhappy home and it truly affects kids their entire life - depression, anxiety, all kinds of stuff.
