How to transition to whole milk??

My 1 year old is ready to transition to whole milk. Right now she’s on similac alimentum. How do I make the switch? Do I warm up whole milk? Sounds dumb to ask but I honestly don’t know! Thxx

I weaned my girl and each week I would add an extra ounce of milk and an ounce less of formula until she drank nothing but whole milk. She also refused to drink it cold so as I decreased the formula I didn't warm the milk up as much in the warmer. By 13ish months she was drinking cold whole milk and off the bottle

I never had to wein. He just got whole milk in his cup one day and he never fought it.
