Couldn’t find baby?

So I am 4 weeks and 2 days pregnant . My doctor did a pregnancy test to confirm pregnancy and it said pregnant however they did a ultrasound and he couldn’t find anything at all? Is this normal? Could it be to early?

My doctor won't do an ultrasound unless your hcg is about 2000 you can't see anything prior to that. I just got a scan at 5w6d to check placement and could barely see anything.

Most likely too early. You usually won’t see a yolk sac on an ultrasound until about 6 weeks.

Too early. I know ow sometime it's nice to see something but this is why they usually don't do ultrasounds until 8 10 weeks it freaks us out. Deep breathes and enjoy being pregnant try not to freak.
