I got the mirena inserted on October 21st, 2020. Ever since, when my period comes, it lasts for 2 weeks, then off 2 weeks and back on for 2 more. That makes this my 5th period cycle now. This time it was about medium for a week and light spotting this second week. Will this ever end?

And secondly, have a trip to the ocean which will happen during my next cycle. Is there any way to delay or stop my next period even just for a few days? Got the mirena specifically FOR this trip and it wound up messing up my cycles to where I'm on my period during my trip rather than off now 🤦‍♀️
