I became a SAHM 2 years ago. And since then I have yet to know ANYTHING about my partners financial. I don’t know how much he has saved NADA! I guess before I didn’t really bother me because I was making my own money and he didn’t care to ask either but now that I’m a SAHM it’s a whole different story. He gives me money once a month, I’m good with money, if I REALLY NEED something I’ll buy it, but if I don’t then I’m not wasting money on it.

But should I know ALL his financial statements? Savings, investments, budgeting etc. ? We’ve been together almost 7 years, I know it’s something that I’m gonna bring up today. I don’t wanna come off harsh way like give me give me because he does pay for EVERYTHING that we need. But like I just wanna know.

have any of you guys had this problem, tips on how to approach the situation...

I love my partner but I feel like he’s more of a “I got this” type of men.
