I hadn’t had a baby in almost a decade and I’m pretty minimalist~ here’s my list 😊

L

Car seat/base/stroller set

High chair that’s easy to clean

Crib or co-sleeper, mattress if not included, changing table and/or pad that’s easy to clean; linens for both

Muslin wraps for blanketing, swaddling, and spit up

Baby bath or insert (luxury not necessity)

Rocker, swing or bouncer that you can transport around the house/yard

Silicone teethers (Sophie the giraffe) and binkies

breast pump or collector, wide glass bottles, ointment, nursing bras and washable inserts

Ergo carrier or something to wear baby

Diapers, wipes, ointment, gentle plant-based soap and detergent

A few toys (I found sweet wooden toys on Etsy) and books

(For clothes I found cute neutral pieces that weren’t too pricey by Kate Quinn, H&M, Burt’s Bees & Little Blue Planet)

Onesies in each size- no outfits in size NB because pants irritate the umbilical site, jumpers for warm months, a sun hat, a swim diaper, a pack of socks, cotton tops and pants in varying sizes, a sweater or jacket in each size, mittens and snow hat, snow suit that covers hands and feet.. I don’t buy baby shoes until walking!
