honestly yes. i have a certain standard of living i want to maintain and financial security is very important to me. i was very clear with bf about my expectations from day 1 and he agreed. when we first met i made more than him, but i didn't mind bc he had a plan lined up and he quickly became successful.

As long as they are contributing towards the bills I don’t mind. Im not having a lazy someone mooch off me and I wouldn’t expect someone to pay for me either.

I don’t care that I make more than my husband. Except I’m 32 weeks pregnant and would love to not go back to work. We can live off my income alone but not his. So I’m hopeful that we can continue to work down our debt and he can get a promotion in the coming year or so that either I can go part time or a less busy/stressful position.

Absolutely not. Love and money have nothing to do with each other unless that’s all you care about is material things.
