Baby number 2?

Anyone really want baby number 2 already? But really nervous?? My sons my first baby and plan on only having 2 kids with my husband. My husband and I have fears we won't love the next as much as we do our son? Is this a typical thing?

My fear isn’t how much I would love my second, but just how hard it would be. I was not prepared for how hard it would really be going from 0 to 1, but I am hoping going from 1 to 2 would be a little easier, because I have an idea of what to expect and it won’t be such a slap in the face...I hope. Lol

We wanted two close together but it was tough to get pregnant with baby number one so we just stopped using protection around 8 months and surprisingly we got pregnant when baby was 11 months old so we are due in June! You will love both your babies so much I would not be concerned about that. I am mostly concerned about taking care of a newborn and toddler on little sleep. When there is just one you can nap when the infant naps but that will no longer be the case.

You will love your second child, I had these same fears, I think it’s harder too because the older your child is the easier it is to connect with them so even though I love both of my children my first (almost 3) is so much easier to connect/communicate with and in some ways so much more affectionate. My first two are 17 months apart and I found the transition from 0-1 much more difficult than 1-2, almost 38 weeks pregnant with my third right now and pretty terrified about 2-3😱

I just went off my birth control earlier this month to start trying for baby #2, and although this is what I had planned from the start I’m low key so nervous about it. I only have my son right now and a lot of people have told me the first 3-6 months are really rough with your second but then you start to get the swing of things. Sleep deprivation and how my son will do with another baby around are my biggest worries. As far as loving them the same, I couldn’t imagine loving anything as much as I love him. But my sister (who has 2 kids) told me that she was worried about that as well. She said your heart just grows and you love them the exact same.

Just found out we are pregnant again, not planned. Son will be 2 in October and new baby is due in October. Im am so nervous, first was a c-section (very painful for me) and idk how I'll chase a toddler and care for new born if I have to do another c-section. Not to mention the sleep deprivation 😫. I figure we'll just take it day by day when that day gets here. I think I am happy they will be closer in age but the next 2 years are going to suck.

I’m due in July with number 2. We haven’t decided for sure on how many kids we are going to have but I knew I wanted my first two pretty close in age. Also I think it’s completely normal to worry about things like that! It’s hard to imagine loving them both so much!
