I went to the ER for spotting and they diagnosed me with an missed abortion and told me I have to see an OB in the morning. I’m kind of familiar with this a little bit. My last pregnancy I was misdiagnosed while pregnant with the same condition while I was on vacation somewhere but that bleeding was bright red and heavy not like my spotting I experienced last night. With that said I decided to follow up with my own doctor after I was told that in 2016, I asked for another ultrasound and second opinion. I got the ultrasound and my baby was perfectly fine she’s turning 4 in May my doctor told us, it could have been twins and i loss one and they just didn’t know at the time. Now, last night when I asked what did they mean happened the lady told me “ the last time you were here your baby just hasn’t thrived since then “ and it makes no sense because I’ve been to two prenatal visits after that initial Er Visit. We saw our heartbeat and baby was growing so what is the lady talking about? Could the ultrasound tech just not have found the baby when she did it which was very rushed and odd.
