Blood clot or piece of placenta?

I’m 17 days postpartum and I just passed this. Does this look like a blood clot or piece of placenta? I’m considering going to the ER But wanted to know if anyone has passed something similar to this and was ok? I still have on and off bleeding as well. Not enough to soak up a whole pad in an hour but there is still bleeding. I was told it was normal to have on and off bleeding since I’m breastfeeding but ok still concerned.

Anything bigger than a 50p coin needs to be reported, definitely go back in and speak with GP

I could be wrong but to me that looks like tissue. I would definitely call a Dr to have them check for any more. I had a peice smaller then that about 6 weeks pp. I did was not having heavy bleeding or anything. I also did not have any more but wound up with a uterine infection from how long I retained it.

I bled for 11 weeks pp. my doctor said it was fine and some people bleed for shorter amounts of time and some people bleed longer. He also said that if you have any clots they are normal as long as they’re not big like the size of a peach but that looks pretty normal. I had a few chunks like that come out and he did it was okay and that my body was just shedding everything left over from baby.
