Ultrasound 5 weeks and 3 days

Hi girls! I just had a transvaginal ultrasound because I wanna make sure my baby is intrauterine and not ectopic. So it is intrauterine which is a good thing. The ob-sonologist only saw a gestational sac. I know its pretty early to see the embryo but is there anyone here with the same result? Did you have a repeat scan after 2 weeks and saw the embryo with a heartbeat. I'm a first time mum and I really want this baby so much.
