Labor & delivery nurse

I had a nurse call from uh where I delivered my baby asking how I was doing I was wondering if I should tell her about my vein that the first nurse messed up. She put an iv in my vein for my thumb & tried to get blood out of it she kept jerking the needle back & forth & it hurt so bad I felt like I was almost going to pass out & they couldnt even use the blood she got bc it was clotted. Well fast forward to 7 days pp & it's all yellow around it& still kind of hurts it's almost like a numb pain all the way up my arm. I'm just worried something's wrong.
