Can you get progesterone in the UK after two miscarriages?

I know a lot of ladies in the US seems to get prescribed it or maybe they buy it OTC? But can you get it prescribed in the UK? Do you have to be bleeding? I’m currently awaiting my second missed miscarriage to happen and I’m determined to try all avenues to help prevent a third. I know it can’t always be done but I need to try something.

Speak to your doctor about it. I’ve been on progesterone through the first 12 weeks of both my pregnancies because they were ivf. There is definitely evidence to back up its use and if it was harmful they wouldn’t give it to people who have done fertility treatments.
