What does this indicate?

Passed this clot today, big enough that I called my ob/gyn and waiting on a callback. Just wondering what this could indicate and what other people have experienced.

I had a clot this big that I passed around 3.5 weeks pp. I didn't have any clots prior to this one. I called my OB and they told me as long as I wasn't bleeding so heavy I was filling a pad every hour for two hours or more than it was fine. I didn't have any heavy bleeding after and that was the only clot I passed

I had passed a clot of similar size. Called me dr and they said so long as I’m not bleeding heavy or having any more then it’s ok but every dr is different, they may want to check you just to be on the safe side.

How long pp are you?
I had one big thing like this in my first week pp, was considered normal - also since I wasn’t bleeding too heavy. 
NB in the first week we have a ‘baby help’ and daily check in my country so I was closely monitored (we leave the hospital 3 hours after giving birth)
